I am in the UAE now, but I do not have a residency visa yet due to the company set up taking time. I don't have any travel insurance or medical cover. Can I get cover now? Thanks

      Hi Paul,

Thank you for your question. Only local providers such as Daman or AXA Gulf will require a residence visa to apply. However there are a number of options you can pursue to obtain cover without a visa. For most of our international insurers (OIC and Bupa, NOW HEALTH, WILLIAM RUSSELL, etc) they will not require a residence visa to enroll as an individual. As for applying as a company, you will only need a company trade license to apply. I suggest you speak with one of our consultant that can provide you with more information and perhaps a quotation for plan that can offer you cover without a visa.
