      Dear Niles,
Thank you for contacting us about your medical insurance. I will be happy to assist you with your wife's maternity plan. However, I don't have enough information at the moment.
I am based in Dubai, so if you want, I'd really recommend meeting and going over this in person in our office. Sometimes, it's much easier to just take 30 minutes to go over it all together so you can really understand your plan.
So that I can help you find the most accurate and suitable options, could you please let me know:
      • Where in the UAE do you live? Dubai? Abu Dhabi? Sharjah?
      • Is this also where your residence visa is from?
      • When do you need this coverage to start?
      • Whether there are any pre-existing conditions that need covered by the insurance?
      • Do you have any preference of hospitals?
Please get back to me as soon as it is convenient for you, I will then compare all suitable insurers and send you a comparison table within the day.
Please note that all insurers will have a waiting period for maternity benefits (unless you are in Abu Dhabi), so if she buys the plan now, became pregnant in December, and was due in September, her benefits will not be paid for UNTIL her waiting period has passed which can be anywhere from 6 - 12 months depending on the insurer. If you are in Abu Dhabi, then you're fine. It will be covered.
As you may already know, our service is completely impartial and free.
I look forward to hearing from you.
      Kind Regards,
