Just to explain, Pre-existing conditions are medical conditions that existed before an insurance policy was taken out. Insurers usually exclude claims arising from pre-existing conditions, because insurance policies are intended to cover unexpected occurrences, however there are certain conditions that can be considered for cover with some companies.
The wording of the exclusion for pre-existing conditions varies between policies. Sometimes it will exclude claims arising either directly or indirectly from pre-existing conditions. Sometimes it will exclude only claims that are directly connected to the pre-existing condition.
