Can I purchase a policy just for my child, if I live in the UAE? Will this type of policy allow me to access best hospitals there?
    Kind Regards

Yes. Although most of the insurers will require that at least one parent is insured by the same policy, there are some providers who will be happy to offer you a plan covering your child alone. It is important to remember that vast majority of local providers will not allow your child take out its own policy, hence your only option might be applying for either a worldwide-coverage plan or a regional one. Naturally, in case of a child-alone policy, one of the parents will actually be the policy holder. Pacific Prime offers policies which will allow your child to receive medical treatment in the best hospitals and clinics in the UAE, including European and American facilities. In most cases, it would be possible to receive treatment with Direct Billing / Direct Settlement, which means that even when receiving Outpatient-type of treatment, you won’t incur any expenses out of your pocket.
